BEREA, Ohio (Nov. 3, 2005) -- Running back Jason Wright was signed from Cleveland's practice squad and added to the Browns' active roster.
With Lee Suggs out at least one more week with a broken right thumb and William Green doubtful for a Nov. 6 game against Tennessee with a sprained left ankle, the Browns have few options in the backfield.
Reuben Droughns, who was arrested earlier this week on a drunken driving charge, is Cleveland's only healthy back.
Green, who hurt his ankle last week against Houston, wore a walking boot at practice and didn't participate in drills.
Wright has been on the Browns' practice squad since the first week of the season. Atlanta waived him Sept. 3. Last season, he carried three times for 10 yards for the Falcons.
