Apcoa/Standard Parking is a vendor that has been contracted by Gillette Stadium to provide parking management services. Apcoa/Standard Parking will be hiring for the position listed below. If hired for the position, you would be employed by Apcoa/Standard Parking and not by Gillette Stadium or NPS LLC.

Efficiently direct event-customers cars in a quick, safe and courteous manner to the respective parking lots. Provide directional support to parking patrons prior to, during and after an event. Provide quality customer service, receive payment from customers for parking services, and facilitate the flow of traffic through the gate by performing any and all of the duties listed below. Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for being at work every scheduled event, on time and in uniform
  • Gather necessary equipment such at beginning of shift in order to perform key tasks
  • Courteously assist customers by answering any questions they may have. If necessary, direct the customer to the Lot Supervisor and/or Area Supervisor for further assistance
  • Efficiently and quickly direct customers into designated parking stalls/areas. Enforce tailgating and general parking policies with customers
  • Control traffic in designated area as needed
  • Report any known accidents, observed or suspected violations of company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the Lot Supervisor and/or Area Supervisor
  • Communicate debris, water, oil spills and etc. to Lot Super visor and/or Area Supervisor
  • Substitute for Cashiers when necessary and when authorized
  • Have a thorough knowledge of all areas of Gillette Stadium, thorough knowledge of the major streets, landmarks and freeways in the area of the Gillette Stadium facility
  • Pick up trash in the lots and work area
  • Any duties as required or assigned by the supervisor.

If acting as a cashier, all of the above duties plus: * Verify ticket opening and closing numbers for issuance during shift * Count "change fund" cashier bank at beginning of shift to ensure starting total is correct * Collect cash and/or monitor displayed parking passes and ensure security of cash * Make change and issues tickets and/or receipts to customer for each transactions * Give directions to customers to various locations within CMGI confines and in the city. Issues customer service maps as needed * Resolve customer questions and complaints independently or with the aid of Head Cashier * Maintain cleanliness of booth and pick up trash in the surrounding area * Conduct checks to see if a proper inventory of necessary work aids and supplies are located in booth * Any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisorQualifications:

  • Must be 16 years of age or older
  • Read and understand instructions in written English
  • Comprehend verbal instructions in English
  • Speak and communicate clearly in English
  • Ability to write simple correspondence in English
  • Employees will be required to maintain a neat and clean appearance and be in complete uniform at all times
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to move over asphalt and dirt terrain
  • Handle, raise and display traffic control equipment
  • The employee is required to work and/or move quickly in inclement weather
  • The employee must lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
