Dolphins guard James sidelined by surgery

Miami Dolphins guard Jeno James underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right knee, sidelining another starter in an offensive line that has struggled all season.

MIAMI (Oct. 24, 2006) -- Miami Dolphins guard Jeno James underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right knee, sidelining another starter in an offensive line that has struggled all season.

James will be evaluated week to week, the Dolphins said. He's likely to miss their next game, Nov. 5 at Chicago.

James started the first seven games at left guard. His backup on the depth chart, Joe Berger, has yet to play this season because of a foot injury.

The Dolphins have started four players at right guard, partly because of injuries. They're 1-6 and rank 28th in the NFL in rushing.
