New England will be a bit undermanned for Sunday's game in New York.

The Patriots will take on the Jets Sunday afternoon without wide receiver Julian Edelman, running back LeGarrette Blount and cornerback Kyle Arrington. The team officially downgraded all three players to out on Saturday night.

Edelman was limited in practice and listed as questionable on Friday's injury report due to a concussion and thigh injury. Though he's been dealing with the thigh problem the last few weeks, the concussion first appeared on this past Wednesday's practice report. There was no announcement of the injury during last Sunday's win over the Dolphins.

Edelman played in all 16 games for the first time in his career last season. Through the first 14 games this year he leads New England 92 receptions for 972 yards and was on pace to top 100 catches and 1,000 yards for the second straight season.

Arrington will miss the Jets game due to a hamstring injury that sent him to the locker room in the first half of last week's win over Miami. He was not able to finish that game. He was listed as having practiced on a limited basis all week due to the injury. Though often banged up and dealing with minor ailments, Arrington had played all 16 games in each of the last four seasons in New England.

Blount is dealing with a shoulder injury that had him limited in practice this week as well.
