FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. (Dec. 15, 2005) -- Michael Vick took all the snaps with the first-team offense, even though the Atlanta Falcons had to practice outdoors during an ice storm that left much of Hall County without electrical power.
Coach Jim Mora, who listed Vick as probable with bruised ribs the day before, removed his quarterback from the team's injury report.
Vick, who pledged on Dec. 14 he will start when Atlanta (8-5) plays Dec. 18 at Chicago (9-4), could not finish a 36-17 victory Dec. 12 against New Orleans after bruising his ribs in the second quarter. He remained in the game before leaving midway through the fourth.
The Falcons lost power as they were in meetings at approximately 8:30 a.m. As of 8 p.m., team headquarters was still without service.
Vick has a career record of 33-18-1, including a 2-2 mark in postseason. Since the start of 2003, Atlanta is 2-13 in games he has not started.
