The roller coaster ride that is NFL Europe took an upward swing again for Patriots linebacker Maugaula Tuitele and his Rhein Fire teammates.
Tuitele had seven tackles to help the Fire defeat Berlin 24-14 and move into a first-place tie with Frankfurt. Both teams have a 5-2 record, but Rhein currently holds the tiebreaker by virtue of a 24-20 win over the Galaxy in Week Five. The teams meet again in Week Nine.
The Galaxy fell to lowly F.C. Barcelona 31-10 to bring themselves back to the pack. New England wide receiver Scott McCready and defensive end Radell Lockhart helped the Scottish Claymores move within one game of Rhein and Frankfurt with a 17-13 victory over Amsterdam.
Belichick to provide medicine
Patriots Head Coach Bill Belichick will be at the Roxbury Comprehensive Community Health Center Wednesday morning to promote and support the center's "Reading is the Best Medicine" program. He will read to and visit with children and staff members for an hour starting at 11 a.m.
