The Patriots held a light walk-thru Friday morning at Bryant College. The one-hour session last from approximately 10:45 to 11:45 and briefly covered offense, defense and special teams.
Dressed in shorts and jerseys in the slightly cooler temperatures the practice focused on the mental side of the game. The players and coaches worked through different formations and adjustments at a quick pace.
Following the light practice, Head Coach Bill Belichick called his team together and addressed it for about five minutes. In the address he revealed to the players that he had cancelled the day's afternoon session, an added bonus to Saturday's previously scheduled day off. The players now have nearly two whole days off until they must report back to camp Sunday morning for meetings, lunch and a 3:00 p.m. practice.
