New England's 19 straight regular-season home wins establishes a new franchise record, topping the team's previous record of 18 straight regular-season home victories from Dec. 29, 2002 through Sept. 8, 2005. The Patriots own an overall record of 62-12 (.838) at Gillette Stadium in regular season games. Since their state-of-the-art facility opened at the beginning of the 2002 season, the Patriots own the NFL's best record at home all-time.

The Patriots scored 30 points today, marking their 13th straight game with 30 or more points. The Patriots' current streak of 13 straight games with 30 or more points is second in NFL history to the 14 straight games by the St. Louis Rams (1999-2000).

BenJarvus Green-Ellis had a career-best 136 rushing yards on 27 carries (5.0 avg.), two of which were touchdown runs. Green-Ellis's 136 rushing yards are the most for a Patriots player since Oct. 20, 2008, when Sammy Morris had 138 rushing yards in a 41-7 Patriots victory over the Denver Broncos.

GREEN-ELLIS HAS MORE RUSHING TOUCHDOWNS SINCE 2010 THAN ANY OTHER PLAYER
Since the beginning of the 2010 season, Green-Ellis has 18 touchdown runs. Green-Ellis's total of 18 touchdowns since the beginning of 2010 is the most in the NFL. Houston's Arian Foster is second with 17. With two touchdowns against the Jets, Green-Ellis now has five touchdowns in 2011. He had a career-high 13 last season.

BRADY MOVED UP ON THE NFL'S ALL-TIME TOUCHDOWN CHART
Tom Brady threw one touchdown pass against Jets to move into a tie for eighth place on the NFL's all-time touchdown pass list, equaling Vinny Testaverde's total of 275 career touchdown passes. Johnny Unitas ranks seventh with 290 touchdown passes. Brady also ranks eighth in NFL history with 115 career wins as a starting quarterback, two behind Joe Montana's total of 117 wins.

BRADY ON PACE TO SET ALL-TIME PASSING NUMBERS
After throwing for 321 yards today and 1,874 yards through five games this year, Tom Brady is on pace to finish the season with 5,997 passing yards. Only two NFL players have thrown for 5,000 or more yards in a season with Dan Marino's NFL record 5,084 in 1984 and Drew Brees' 5,069 in 2008.The most yards Brady has ever thrown in a season is 4,806 in 2007.

BRADY ON PACE FOR SECOND CAREER 40 TOUCHDOWN SEASON
Brady has 14 touchdown passes through five games and is on pace for 45 touchdown passes. Brady has led the league in touchdowns passes three times in his career and can tie Len Dawson, Brett Favre, Johnny Unitas and Steve Young (4) for the most seasons leading the league in touchdown passes.
Last season, Brady led the NFL with 36 touchdowns. He also led the NFL with a record 50 touchdowns in 2007 and 28 touchdowns in 2002.

BRADY GOES OVER 300 YARDS FOR THE 38th TIME IN HIS CAREER
Tom Brady threw for 321 yards today for his 38th career 300-yard passing game. Brady's total of 38 career 300-yard passing games ranks third among active NFL quarterbacks, behind NFL-leader Peyton Manning (63) and Drew Brees (48). The Patriots are now 33-5 when Brady throws for 300 or more yards. Today's game marks Brady's fourth 300 yard game of the 2011 season. His single-season best was eight 300 yard games in 2007.

GREEN-ELLIS RECORDS 22nd and 23rd CAREER RUSHING TOUCHDOWNS
RB BenJarvus Green-Ellis had two touchdowns for his fourth career two-touchdown game and first of the 2011 season. Green-Ellis scored on a 3-yard touchdown run in the first quarter for his 22nd career rushing touchdown to take sole possession of eighth place on the Patriots all-time rushing list. He was tied with Laurence Maroney and Antowain Smith with 21. He added a 3-yard run in the third quarter for his 23rd and is now tied with Don Calhoun for seventh on the all-time list. Curtis Martin and Tony Collins are tied for fifth with 32 rushing touchdowns.

GREEN-ELLIS GOES OVER 100 YARDS
Green-Ellis had his fourth 100-yard game and the first of the 2011 season after finishing with 136 yards on 27 carries. It is the second time in his career that he has finished with 100 yards rushing and two touchdowns. His first such game was on Oct. 31, 2010 when he had 112 yards rushing and two touchdowns in a win vs. Minnesota.

WELKER SETS NFL RECORD FOR MOST RECEIVING YARDS IN FIRST FIVE GAMES
Wes Welker had five receptions for 124 yards and now has 45 receptions for 740 yards through five games this season. Welker's 740 receiving yards are the most in NFL history for any player through the first five games of the season. Welker is on pace for 2,368 receiving yards this year. The NFL record for most yards gained in a season is 1,848 by Jerry Rice in 1995. The Patriots team record is 1,493 yards by Randy Moss in 2007. Welker's career-high is 1,348 yards in 2009. Welker's 45 receptions through five games are the second highest total in NFL history for the first five games of the season, trailing only Cincinnati's TJ Houshmandzadeh's 47 receptions through the first five games of the 2007 season.

WELKER RECORDS THIRD STRAIGHT 100-YARD RECEIVING GAME
Wes Welker's 124 receiving yards marked his third straight game with 100 or more receiving yards. Welker has broken the 100-yard receiving mark four times in five games this season. The Patriots team record for most consecutive 100-yard receiving games is four (Randy Moss, 2007). Today was Welker's 19th career 100-yard receiving game and his fourth of the season. Welker also broke the 100-yard mark when he had 8 receptions for 160 yards at Miami (9/12) in the 2011 season opener, 16 receptions for 217 yards at Buffalo (9/25) and 9 receptions for 158 yards at Oakland (10/2). Welker had a career-high of six 100-yard receiving games in 2009.

WELKER IS STREAKING
Wes Welker extended his streak to 66 straight regular-season games with at least one reception as a member of the Patriots to extend his franchise record. Welker has an overall streak of 83 straight regular-season games with at least one reception, including his time with the Miami Dolphins. Welker has caught at least one pass in each of his 70 games with the Patriots, including four postseason games. The last time that Welker did not catch a pass in a game was December 24, 2005 when he was with Miami.

PATRIOTS ARE WICKED GOOD IN OCTOBER
With today's win over the Jets, the Patriots improved to 31-5 in the month of October since the 2003 season. The Patriots have won 22 out of their last 24 October games. The Patriots were 4-0 in 2010 in October. The Patriots are 17-1 at home and 14-4 on the road in October since 2003.

HERNANDEZ BACK WITHOUT MISSING A BEAT
Aaron Hernandez returned to action against the Jets and caught five passes for 56 yards. Hernandez caught seven passes and a touchdown pass in the two previous games he played in 2011. He caught 7 passes for 103 yards with a 1-yard touchdown at Miami (9/12) and 7 passes for 62 yards with a 14-yard touchdown pass vs. San Diego (9/18).

WELKER HAS TIED NFL RECORD FOR MOST GAMES WITH AT LEAST EIGHT RECEPTIONS AND 150 YARDS RECEIVING AND A TOUCHDOWN IN A SINGLE SEASON
Although he did not reach the thresholds today, Wes Welker is already tied with six other players as the only players in NFL history to have at least eight receptions, 150 receiving yards and at least one touchdown three times in a single season.

BRANCH MOVES INTO NINTH PLACE ON PATRIOTS ALL-TIME RECEIVING LIST
Deion Branch's 11-yard catch in the third quarter moved him past Jim Colclough (283) into ninth place on the Patriots' all-time receptions list. Branch now has 284 receptions in a Patriots uniform, good for ninth on the Patriots' all-time list. Gino Cappelletti ranks eighth with 292 career catches.

BRADY THROWS FIRST CAREER INTERCEPTION IN THE RED ZONE AT HOME
Tom Brady entered the day with 91 red zone touchdowns and no interceptions in home regular season game prior his second quarter interception. Brady began his career with 327 attempts (including two today) without an interception at home in the red zone.

GOSTKOWKSI HAS HIS 32nd AND 33rd STRAIGHT FOURTH QUARTER FIELD GOALS
Stephen Gostkowski kicked two fourth-quarter field goals today, raising his streak to 33 consecutive successful fourth-quarter field goals. In his career, Gostkowski is 34 of 35 overall in fourth quarter field goals. His only fourth-quarter miss was in his second career game when he had a 29-yard try blocked at the Jets (9/17/06).

PATRIOTS ARE A PERFECT 5-0 WHEN WEARING THROWBACKS AT HOME
The Patriots are now 5-0 when wearing throwback uniforms at home. New England has worn uniforms featuring the old "Pat Patriot" logo at home five times since switching to the current logo in 1993. PATRIOTS DEFENSE NOTES

• The New England defense forced the Jets' offense into seven three-and-outs in 12 possessions today.

• The Patriots defense did not allow a Jets first down until 10:27 remaining in the second quarter. New England held the Jets to three-and-outs on each of New York's first four offensive possessions.

• Mark Anderson sacked Mark Sanchez for an 8-yard loss on the final play of the game. Anderson finished the game with 1.5 sacks.

• Mark Anderson and Rob Ninkovich combined to sack Mark Sanchez on third down in the first quarter, forcing a Jets punt on the next play.

• Leigh Bodden batted away a Mark Sanchez pass intended for Dustin Keller on third down on the Jets' first offensive possession, forcing a New York punt on the next play.

• Andre Carter stopped Jets fullback John Conner for no gain on second down on the last play of the first quarter, setting up a third-and-eight that the Jets did not convert.

• Andre Carter and Gary Guyton combined to stop Shonn Greene for no gain on first down in the third quarter. The Jets ended up punting three plays later.

• Mark Anderson and Patrick Chung stopped Shonn Greene for no gain on second-and-six in the fourth quarter.
