Following the Patriots 42-20 victory over Indianapolis Ryan Wendell was disappointed to learn that Jonas Gray was held a yard short of the 200 mark. Today the right guard is probably smiling because the NFL and Elias Sports Bureau made a scoring change and updated Gray's totals.
The league originally credited Gray for a 2-yard loss on a fourth quarter run that was wiped out by a Colts penalty for a facemask on linebacker Jerel Freeman. Instead to calling it a no play and marking off the yardage of the penalty, the official gamebook credited the loss to Gray and added the penalty yardage.
After the correction Gray is now listed with 37 carries for 201 yards and four touchdowns, making one of two backs to eclipse the 200-yard mark this season, joining Pittsburgh'sLeveon Bell, who did so in the Steelers Monday night win over Tennessee.
