Gronk strike! Gronk goes bowling with kids from One Mission

Gronk spent the day Tuesday bowling with the non-profit's 'MVPs.'

We're used to seeing the Gronk spike on Sundays, but on Tuesday afternoon, a special group of kids got to see the elusive Gronk strike up close.

Gronk spent the day with kids from One Mission's MVP program, which celebrates those who go above and beyond in fundraising for the annual One Mission Buzz Off. The event encourages people to shave their heads in solidarity with pediatric cancer patients and to raise money.

The non-profit's aim is to make the lives of pediatric cancer patients and their families a little brighter, and Gronk has participated in their signature event for seven years.

The MVP dinner included a trip to Splitsville at Patriot Place, where some of the top fundraisers from this year's Buzz Off hit the lanes with Gronk for a day of fun, celebration and bowling.

In an Instagram post, Gronk shared photos from the day writing, "Just throwing strikes, sipping water, signing autographs, taking pics! No time wasted when spending time with these young kids! @buzzforkids #buzzforkids P.S. My hair is growing back fast!"

Gronk has become a staple at the annual Buzz Off event, hosted at Gillette Stadium, shaving his head for the cause and even shaving the heads of other participants, and the event on Tuesday further demonstrates Gronk's commitment to One Mission and the kids and families it serves.
