In Case You Missed It: Patriots make Revis, Browner, LaFell, Edelman official

Just in case you missed it, we recap the week that featured the signings of Darrelle Revis, Brandon Browner, Brandon LaFell, and Julian Edelman.

The Patriots created a lot of buzz at the start of free agency and this week the team officially announced the signings of Darrelle Revis, Brandon Browner, and Brandon LaFell. Jackie Brittain sat down with Darrelle Revis as well as Nick Caserio to talk about the team's most recent acquistions. After signing the dotted line, Revis and LaFell spoke with the media for the first time as a part of the Patriots organization. During a conference call, Revis said that he's ready to win while LaFell explained that he's prepared to make sacrifices to help the team.

The Patriots also resigned Julian Edelman this week to a four-year contract, but PFW's Erik Scalavino believes the Patriots must remain aggressive. Bill Belichick may have heard his cry because on Tuesday there were reports that New England had inquired about a trade for Eagles WR DeSean Jackson. In other news, the Patriots also proposed four rule changes this week. These include moving the line of scrimmage to the 25-yard line on extra-point attempts, expanding replay options for coaches, extending the goalposts 5 feet higher, and placing cameras in the end zone to aid referees. All of these proposals will be discussed at the NFL's league meetings next week in Orlando.

Keep up with our Year in Review series. This week's focus is on the seniors of 2013.
