The Junior Cheerleaders made their second co-appearance of 2012 with the Patriots Cheerleaders on Tuesday, August 7th at Patriots Training Camp. Forty of the program's nearly two-hundred Junior Cheerleaders rotated between three stations located within Patriots Fan Zone, an interactive football-themed area open to fans of all ages.
The Junior Cheerleaders began the day with an interactive activity led by Cheerleading Director Tracy Sormanti. The activity allowed the girls to get to know their fellow Junior Cheerleaders better while practicing their public speaking skills.
The Junior Cheerleaders then split up into groups by age and rotated between three stations within Fan Zone. One group greeted guests and welcomed them to Training Camp at the Fan Zone entrance. Another group joined the Patriots Cheerleaders at their autograph booth, signing posters and taking photos. The third group was stationed by the UnitedHealthcare Healthy Food Drive donation bin, spreading awareness of UnitedHealthcare's "Training Camp for Health" initiative and encouraging fans to donate nutritious food items in support of the Greater Boston Food Bank.
