McIntosh re-signs with Dolphins for 2006

The Miami Dolphins re-signed left tackle Damion McIntosh to a one-year deal, about a month after releasing him in a cost-cutting move.

DAVIE, Fla. (April 4, 2006) -- The Miami Dolphins re-signed left tackle Damion McIntosh to a one-year deal, about a month after releasing him in a cost-cutting move.

McIntosh started all 16 games at left tackle for the Dolphins last season, and has started all 30 games in which he's appeared during his two seasons with Miami. He helped the Dolphins allow only 26 sacks last season, the fourth-lowest total in the league.

The Dolphins also announced that offensive tackle Tony Pape has been activated from the reserve-did not report list.
