News Blitz 1/7: Brady, Pats on the mend

All of the day's Patriots news in one convenient place.

Even though they still await the identity of their first-round opponent, the Patriots continued their preparations for the divisional round with a walkthrough in Foxborough yesterday. Injuries remain the focus of attention all around New England, and ESPNBoston.com believe the return of Julian Edelman will be the first domino to fall in that regard. Also, Tom Brady says he's feeling much better than he was a couple of days ago. The Providence Journal says many of the injured players were present for the team’s walkthrough.

In terms of opponents, Alan Branch says it won’t matter who the Patriots play if the team doesn't improve.

Despite the difficult nature of the 2015 season, CSNNE.com says it's tough to get inside Brady's head.

According to a recently complete Harris Poll, Brady was named the second-best player in NFL history.

In other news, ESPN.com says Josh McDaniels has interest in the vacant Tennessee Titans head coach position.
