ESPN.com says the gap between the teams isn’t as wide as ever but it sure seems that way.

Looking back at the Broncos game, ESPNBoston.com says one of the untold stories from the victory was the play of Marcus Cannon, who neutralized Von Miller.

Although he's been in New England less than a week, Josh McDaniels likes the attitude and approach of Michael Floyd.

The Patriots have the No. 1 scoring defense in the entire NFL and the Boston Globe says the effort the group put forth in Denver was a super sign. The Boston Herald agrees, explaining how the defense showed it can take over a game. Their report card offers more praise for the defense.

Although the offense didn't have much success in Denver, the *Globe *felt the game plan was brilliant in exposes some flaws.

The Boston Herald's notebook leads with the Patriots stellar 7-0 road record, a stat that Tom Brady is quite proud of.

MassLive.com says the Patriots have all the necessary ingredients to become Super Bowl champions.

Looking ahead to Saturday, WEEI.com says Jets coach Todd Bowles could be fighting for his job. Speaking of the Jets, things aren’t good on or off the field in New York, as Sheldon Richardson was once again involved in an incident that Bowles says he will address. Meanwhile, quarterback Bryce Petty was diagnosed with a chest bruise and he could be available on Saturday. The New York Post has plenty of reasons for the Jets collapse this season.
