The Patriots enjoyed their first day off of camp on Tuesday after five straight days of work but that didn't mean there wasn't any news. The Boston Herald reports that wide receiver Chris Hogan is receiving treatment for his shoulder injury and isn't expected to miss extended time.

Despite the downtime, ESPNBoston.com offers several leftover items for the first weekend-plus of activity.

CSNNE.com has Belichick discussing Rob Gronkowski and Martellus Bennett and their interchangeable nature. Incidentally, ESPN.com says Gronk is fully recovered from an injury to his pectoral muscle suffered during the offseason.

Oh, and don’t forget to wish Tom Brady a happy birthday.
