With the excitement of Sunday's season-opener enveloping the region, there are some reasons to be concerned. Despite the fact that the Patriots continue to have perfect attendance at practice, tight end Rob Gronkowski told reporters on Thursday that he was not yet 100 percent as he deals with his hamstring pull

ESPNBoston.com said the tight end couldn’t guarantee his availability for the Cardinals game but the *Boston Herald* is reporting that he will.

Tom Brady appeared on a radio pregame show prior to last night's opener between Denver and Carolina and had some interesting things to say. ESPNBoston.com details some of the comments.

MassLive.com has Jimmy Garoppolo ready to make his debut while looking at a number of other items of interest surrounding the team. Bill Belichick says practice squad running back Bishop Sankey has a variety of skills.

CSNNE.com has Saints coach Sean Payton expressing sympathy for Brady’s plight, support that was greatly appreciated by Belichick. Also, after an at times difficult preseason the Patriots are no longer the top Super Bowl favorite according to Vegas.

Out in Arizona, Chandler Jones is downplaying his reunion with his former team. Bruce Arians sees a lot of similarities between Garoppolo and Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo.
