Feb. 27 – NFL Europe Training camp opens
The Patriots have nine players scheduled to play in NFL Europe with five – QB Rohan Davey, G Jamil Soriano, WR Chas Gessner, LB Lawrence Flugence and S Scott Farley – all with the Berlin Thunder.
DL Buck Rasmussen (Frankfurt), S Jason Perry (Amsterdam), CB Michael Hall (Cologne) and T David Pruce (Frankfurt) also will be in camp when it opens Friday.
March 2 – Deadline for submission of qualifying offers by clubs to their restricted free agents whose contracts have expired and to whom they wish to retain a right of first refusal/compensations.
Also deadline to submit offer of minimum salary to retain exclusive negotiating rights to players with fewer than three seasons of free agency credit whose contract have expired.
March 3 -- Veteran free agency signing period and trading period begin.
March 28-April 1 -- NFL Annual Meeting in Palm Beach, Fla.
April 3 -- NFL Europe season begins.
April 16 -- Signing period ends for restricted free agents
April 23 -- Deadline for old clubs to exercise right of first refusal to restricted free agents.
April 24-25 -- NFL Draft
