GREEN BAY, Wis. (Nov. 6, 2005) -- Steelers running back Willie Parker left the team's game midway through the third quarter with the Green Bay Packers after injuring his left ankle.
Parker, who has topped 100 yards in three of the Steelers' seven games, had just five carries for 13 yards when he left the game with Pittsburgh leading 13-10.
He took a handoff to the right and was tackled in the backfield for a 2-yard loss by linebacker Robert Thomas. Parker's return was questionable.
Steelers linebacker James Farrior also left the game in the third quarter and was questionable after injuring his left knee, and Packers defensive tackle Corey Williams fell awkwardly away from the play on Duce Staley 's 2-yard run. He left the field gingerly with a calf injury. His return was also questionable.
