New England's Week Seven game at Denver may be moved from Sunday, Oct. 28 to Thursday, Oct. 25 according to the Denver Post.
The Post said the NFL and Broncos' officials confirmed the move, which became necessary after Major League Baseball postponed its season by one week, forcing Game 2 of the World Series to be played Sunday night, Oct. 28. Rather than having a nationally broadcast Sunday night game opposite the World Series, the NFL chose to move the Patriots-Broncos game to a nationally televised Thursday night game on ESPN.
Patriots officials could not confirm the change. According to the story in the Post, an official release is expected from the league later today.
