Megget returned from a hamstring injury to lead the Patriots past the Dolphins. He set up the touchdown and Marrio Grier punched it in as the Patriots jumped ahead in the third quarter 6-7.
Then it was Megget again who capped off a 55-yard drive with a five yard touchdown that won the game for the Patriots.
The Patriot's defense held Dan Marino and the Dolphins to only 160 yards passing. The ending score was 14-12 and was the fight for homefield advantage for the playoffs.
Patriots clinch AFC East division again
Dave Megget was the spark that ignited the second consecutive AFC East Divisional Chapionship. He caught a pass from Bledsoe and stormed twenty yards downfield to the two yard line while carrying Dolphin defenders.
