Patriots head coach Bill Belichick made it clear a lack of consistency has plagued the team thus far. "Collectively, as an offensive unit, we are not consistently doing things as well as we need to do them all the way across the board," Belichick said according to the Boston Globe. "It's not one position, it's not one player, it's not one particular type of play. But overall, we’re just not as efficient and precise as we need to be. There’s no other way to put it." QBTom Brady reiterated this point referring to a broken play between he and WRWes Welker late in the fourth quarter.

The *Boston Herald *reports T Matt Light was seen using crutches in the locker room Monday. According to the story, Light "went down with an injury on the first play of the fourth quarter during Sunday's 20-17 overtime loss to the Broncos in Denver."

According to the Sun Chronicle, CB Leigh Bodden voiced his frustration in allowing a long drive from the Broncos late in Sunday's contest. "It's tough to see an offense go 98 yards," who missed the tackle on the tying 11-yard score. "But any time they score, I don't care if they get the ball on the 10-yard line or the 2-yard line, it's going to be tough.
