In The Boston Globe today, you'll find a story about Missouri defensive lineman **Ziggy Hood**, a draft prospect the Pats will reportedly be hosting for a pre-draft visit to Gillette Stadium.
Today's Boston Herald has a piece focusing on safety James Sanders, who recently re-signed with New England.
He said a main reason for his returning to the Pats was a discussion he had with head coach Bill Belichick.
"He told me ... that he sees me as one of those guys that when things get rough, the team could look to [me]," Sanders said. "I really admired that and appreciated him saying that. That was just one of many things he said . . . that really stuck."
The Herald also ran a story over the weekend about Belichick's close relationship with St. Louis Cardinals manager Tony La Russa.
"Whenever we're together with someone new to Bill, I egg him on to tell the story of the Rams Super Bowl and how he got the whole team to run out together," La Russa said. "That was one of the great symbols of team of our time. I remember watching that and saying, 'What the heck?' It knocked me on my butt."
