Thanks to Baltimore's upset of the Steelers on Saturday night in Pittsburgh, Joe Flacco and the Ravens will travel to Gillette Stadium this Saturday evening (4:35 p.m. ET) for a Divisional Playoff matchup with the Patriots.
The game will renew what has become a solid playoff rivalry in recent years between Bill Belichick's Patriots and John Harbaugh's Ravens. This will mark the fourth playoff battle between New England and Baltimore since January of 2010, all of those contests in Foxborough.
Ray Rice ran through the Patriots on the way to a Wild Card Weekend upset following the 2009 season, a 33-14 Ravens route. New England got the better of the battle after the 2011 season, hanging on for a 23-20 victory in the AFC title game thanks to a Billy Cundiff missed field goal. A year later, Baltimore cruised to the 28-13 win the AFC title game on the way to eventual Super Bowl success.
The most recent meeting between the two teams was a Patriots 41-7 regular season blowout in Baltimore in December of 2013.
