The New England Patriots have in fact landed at Logan Airport in Boston tonight.
Media reports indicating that the team is stuck in Buffalo, N.Y., due to heavy snow in that city are not true. The team left Buffalo after a long delay and landed in Boston at 10:20 p.m. Sunday night.
The Patriots won a 13-10 overtime decision in snowy, windy, frigid conditions at Ralph Wilson Stadium in Orchard Park when Adam Vinatieri connected on a 24-yard field goal.
One national network television report indicated that the Buffalo airport was closed because of the snow, but the Patriots charter flight was permitted to fly and the team is back in Foxborough, Mass.
