Patriots Legends Team Up with Mission Possible Teen Center

Two Pro Football Hall of Famers teamed up with the "Mission Possible Teen Center" in Westbrook, Maine to promote the importance of community volunteerism on Tuesday, July 22nd.

Pro Football Hall of Famers Andre Tippett and John Hannah teamed up with the "Mission Possible Teen Center" in Westbrook, Maine to promote the importance of community volunteerism on Tuesday, July 22nd. The two former Patriots players led a free roundtable discussion at the center, encouraging the teen members to give back to their communities in whatever way possible. Tippett and Hannah discussed their own dedication to the community and gave advice and suggestions to the teens about how to challenge themselves to impact the community around them by giving back. Tippett currently serves as Executive Director of Community Affairs for the team.

The Mission Possible Teen Center was founded in 1996 by a group of local community members in response to the area's rising youth drug and alcohol problems. Over the last decade, it has grown to service over 1,700 youth in Westbrook and its surrounding communities. In May, the organization was given a $3,500 grant from the New England Patriots Charitable Foundation as part of the team's annual Community MVP program. Tuesday's event was an additional celebration of the organization's outstanding work within their community.
