WIDE RECEIVER JULIAN EDELMAN**
On why the offense was better in the first half:
"We only had the ball three times in the first half and scored twice. They had the ball a lot longer than us in the first half so we weren't able to do anything with it."
On being 4-0:
"It's just another win. It was a good win and a good road victory. We'll take it in and enjoy it tonight and then move on to Cincinnati."
On the balance of the offense tonight:
"The running game set up a lot of the pass and the pass set up a lot of the run. It was complimentary but there were some key things that we messed up on and have to work on. I'm sure that we will be working on those in practice."
WIDE RECEIVER KENBRELL THOMPKINS
Are you starting to feel comfortable after another good performance:
"I'm just playing football and trusting the older guys to put me in the right spot for the plays that are being called. I'm just trying to go out there and make a play for my team."
Do you feel like this was a breakout performance for the offense:
"No, not at all. We still have a lot of work to do and a lot of things to clean up. We will correct the mistakes tomorrow and keep moving forward."
On the long completion can you talk about the play and what you did:
"The ball was in the air and my job was to go up and catch it. When I saw the ball in the air it was a little under thrown so I tried to do my best to go up and catch it.

On the physical play between the defensive backs and Atlanta wide receivers:**
"Physical game. The refs let us play. They did some pushing, we did some pulling and we came out with the win. "
On the last play of the game:
"Coach dialed it up. I was on Roddy (White). He ran a straight, like an over route, then crossing route. Matt Ryan put it up and I had to get to it and break it up. "
On containing and keeping Roddy White and Julio Jones out of the end zone:
"We wanted to switch it up on them. Sometimes we double covered them. Sometimes we single covered them. We wanted to switch it up and it kept them off balance a little bit."
On the signs of growth of the defensive unit
"Being up 17 and having them (Falcons) comeback and stopping them on fourth down; we can grow on that."
PATRIOTS DB DEVIN MCCOURTY
On the secondary making plays at the end of the game
"We did a good job. We have to focus on finishing now. We let up a couple of plays at the end. Overall, we came out and executed our game plan. Just have to finish better. Something we have to work on but it is better to work on it with a win than a loss."
