The New England Patriots fared well in a recent Sports Business Journal and Sports Business Daily reader survey. More than 1,500 responses were collected from polling the web sites of both SportsBusiness Daily and SportsBusiness Journal from September 12-October 2. Chairman and CEO Robert Kraft was the runaway selection as the NFL's most effective owner, claiming 52.6 percent of the nearly 1,000 responses. New England quarterback Tom Brady finished a sizable margin ahead of Manning as the league's most marketable player, with 43.7 percent of the votes to 23 percent for the Colts signal-caller. In somewhat of a surprise, Gillette Stadium finished in a close second (14.2 percent to 11.9) behind Lambeau Field as the NFL's best stadium.
