Training camp came to an official close Wednesday, as the team packed up for the trip back to Foxboro. The moving process from Bryant College began Wednesday morning, as coaches, players and team officials packed all the team equipment to go home.
Head Coach Pete Carroll held a final practice on Wednesday, but the session was closed to both the public and the media. Carroll did meet with the press just before noon for his final press conference of camp.
"One thing that has been a major theme for us has been to call for adjustments, specifically concerning injuries," Carroll said while assessing this year's camp. "I feel this has been our best camp, and we have come out of it as best as we possibly could. Our attitude coming out is very strong."
The next public appearance for the Patriots will be Saturday night, when they play at Tampa Bay in their third preseason game. Game time is 8 p.m.
