FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Patriots announced that they have signed rookie free agent RB George Winn. Terms of the contract were not announced.

Winn, 22, was originally signed by the Houston Texans as a rookie free agent out of Cincinnati on May 10, 2013, and was released by Houston on May 15. The 5-foot-11, 210-pounder, gained 1,334 rushing yards on 243 attempts with 13 touchdowns last season for Cincinnati. He was named Second Team All-Big East following the 2012 season.
