FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Patriots announced today the signing of third-round draft choice CB Logan Ryan. Terms of the contract were not disclosed. Ryan joins Duron Harmon (third round, 91st overall) as two of the seven 2013 NFL Draft selections to sign with the team.

Ryan, 22, was selected by the Patriots in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft with the 83rd selection overall out of Rutgers. It was the first of two third round picks by the Patriots in 2013. The 5-foot-11, 191-pounder, was a two-year starter for Rutgers at cornerback. Last season, he earned All-American first-team honors from Pro Football Weekly and earned All-Big East Conference honors after recording 94 total tackles, four interceptions and 21 passes defensed.
