FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Patriots announced today the signing of rookie free agent WR Xavier Ubosi.

Ubosi, 25 began his college career at Pierce College before transferring to University of Alabama-Birmingham. The 6-foot-3, 215-pounder, played in 20 games during his two-year stint at Alabama-Birmingham and finished with 48 receptions for 1,065 yards and nine touchdowns. Last season, he tallied 35 receptions for 837 yards and eight touchdowns.
