Foxboro, Mass.—The New England Patriots announced that they have waived fullback Jeff Paulk today.
Paulk, 25, played in the Patriots first two preseason games this season, but did not record any statistics. The 6-foot, 243-pound fullback was signed onto the Patriots practice squad on Dec. 7, 2000. He was activated and played in the final game of the 2000 season against Miami, but did not record any statistics.
Paulk was originally drafted in the third round, 92nd overall, by the Atlanta Falcons in the 1999 NFL draft. He played in one game for the Falcons in 1999, but did not record any statistics. He was released by the Falcons on Aug. 19, 2000.
