After staying relatively injury free for most of the season, the Patriots were hit hard in the loss against the Colts. Rookie running back Kevin Faulk suffered a compound fracture of his right ankle and is now lost for the remainder of the season. He underwent surgery on Tuesday and will be on crutches for six weeks but will begin rehabilitation immediately with motion excercises.
Cornerback Ty Law played with pins in his broken hand but the pain intensified during the course of the game and his status is now listed as questionable for Sundays game against Philadelphia. Middle linebacker Ted Johnson left the game late with a strained calf muscle, but should be able to go against the Eagles.
Free safety Chris Carter had what Head Coach Pete Carroll described as a fairly significant hamstring pull and is also listed as questionable for Sunday. Cornerback Steve Israel (ankle sprain) and tackle Bruce Armstrong (strained knee) were banged up but both are expected to play.
