Missing from action for the third consecutive day was starting left guard/co-captain Logan Mankins (left ankle, hip, calf), but wide receiver Wes Welker (ankle) and right guard Dan Connolly (back) were back on the field after missing the past two workouts.
Linebacker Tracy White (left foot) was also back on the field after being seen leaving it yesterday.
Head coach Bill Belichick said prior to practice that he's spent some time working with new cornerback Aqib Talib one-on-one. "I think he's coming along," added Belichick. "We'll find out today when it all comes together — review day. We segment things along the way and then Friday is more a pull-it-all-together. So, we'll see how it goes today."
Belichick also indicated that Talib, who has just come off a four-week NFL suspension, is at a level of conditioning in line "with what we're doing."
Player interviews in the locker room will begin after practice, around 1:30 EST.
