Wide receiver Danny Amendola recently accepted a pay cut to remain in New England. Now the question may be, when will he be available to play?
According to the Boston Herald, Amendola is recovering from a pair of offseason surgeries that could put the start of his season in question. Citing a source, the paper revealed that the wideout underwent surgery on his left knee and also had a bone spur removed from his ankle. Both procedures took place early in the offseason and were considered minor.
Amendola battled knee problems throughout the last half of the season, missing two games and being limited in several others. His timeline for a return is unknown. Training camp begins in late July.
