Danny Amendola has talked about his affection for playing for the Patriots many times during his career in New England. For the second year in a row he put his money where his mouth is.
According to Mike Garafolo of FoxSports1, Amendola has agreed to restructure his contract and will remain with the team.
Amendola similarly redid his deal last offseason to stay in the fold, and Garafolo added a statement from the wideout explaining his reasoning.
"It's an honor to play for this franchise and with this group of guys. We have one goal- to win another Championship and that's all we care about."
Amendola finished second on the team with 65 catches for 648 yards and three touchdowns for the Patriots in 2015. He'll join Julian Edelman as Tom Brady's top options in the slot once again in 2016.
