Locks: Darrelle Revis, Brandon Browner, Alfonzo Dennard, Logan Ryan, Kyle Arrington
Bubble: Justin Green
Long shots: Daxton Swanson, Travis Hawkins, Malcolm Butler
BREAKDOWN: This is the deepest and most talented group of corners the Patriots have had in years. Revis' arrival has the potential to transform the entire defense, and if Browner can take the other starting spot following his four-game suspension it would leave former starters Dennard and Arrington in backup roles. Add in Ryan, who had some highlights as a rookie a year ago, and this should be a true strength of the unit. It will be interesting to see who emerges from a competitive camp battle as the top nickel back. Green spent time on the roster and practice squad last season and could earn a role as an extra defensive back. Swanson had a solid spring but will face long odds along with Hawkins and Butler due to the talent as the top of the depth chart.
