Just last year, Richard Seymour said there was "no way" he would return to New England.
Well, turns out he will… just not as a player.
The Patriots 2001 first-round draft choice will be back in Foxborough this weekend for festivities honoring players who were on the team's Super Bowl-winning squads a decade ago. Seymour, who was traded to Oakland just before the start of the 2009 season, will take part in a panel discussion at The Hall at Patriot Place on Saturday from 5-6 p.m. Eastern.
Fans are encouraged to attend by purchasing an admission ticket to The Hall. There will not be an autograph session, however. Seymour will then be recognized during halftime of the Denver game, along with several other former Patriots who won rings on all three Super Bowl squads.
In honor of the 10th Anniversary of the 3x Super Bowl Championships, check out photos from the 22 players that were a members of all three teams.
