The Patriots are the AFC East champions and get the No.2 seed along with a first-round bye.
-Oakland wins
The Patriots are the AFC East champions and get the No. 3 seed.
They would host No. 6 seed Jets if Seattle loses.
They would host No. 6 seed Seahawks if Seattle and Baltimore win.
They would host No. 6 seed Ravens if Seahawks win and Ravens lose.
IF THE PATRIOTS LOSE TO CAROLINA AND:
-Oakland wins and Miami loses
The Patriots are the AFC East champions and get the No. 3 seed.
They would host the No. 6 seed Jets if the Ravens win or the Seahawks lose.
They would host the No. 6 seed Ravens if Baltimore loses and the Seahawks win.
-New York wins
The Patriots are a wild card team and the No. 4 seed.
They would host the No. 5 Dolphins if Miami loses.
They would host the No. 5 Ravens if Miami and Baltimore win.
They would host No. 5 Jets if Miami wins and Baltimore loses.
-Oakland and Miami win
The Patriots are a wild card team and the No. 4 seed.
