(on how anxious he is to finally play the game)
"The closer you get the more anxious you get. It still seems a long ways away, but we're getting a little closer so I'm just excited and ready for it to get under way."
(on how it feels being in his first Super Bowl and close to a perfect season)
"It feels good. Any time you get to this position this is where you want to be. You just have to make sure you're ready to finish it off and prepare the way you have all year."
(on being a key weapon on the Patriots)
"Any time you have great players like Randy (Moss) and Tom (Brady) and Maroney, and Stallworth and Gaffney and Watson, the whole list goes on and on, anytime you have a group of guys like we do, we can make a lot of plays out there. It definitely makes your job a lot easier. It makes good players even a lot better than what they are. It's a combination of everyone going out there and doing their job at the same time."
(on how he and Randy Moss complement each other)
"I think Randy and I are a great complement to each other. He's a big guy who is going to stretch the field and make some big plays. For me, I work a lot over the middle and try to move the chains and try to set up some of those big plays and vice versa -- him getting the big plays and him opening it up underneath."
(on being fired up so close to game day)
"I'm very excited. It's going to be a lot of fun. We're going to be ready to go this Sunday."
(on being a prime target for Tom Brady)
"We'll just see how the game goes. I'm just going to go out there and execute my plays and do my job every single play I'm out there, and whatever happens after that happens. I just want to make sure I'm in the right spot for Tom and do what I need to do to make sure that Tom and I can do whatever we need to do on Sunday."
(on whether the prospect of going undefeated has been distracting)
"No more of a distraction than what it's been all year. It's been talked about for a while now, so I think it's to a point where we're really not fazed by it. We're just going to go out there and execute our plays and make sure we're out there playing winning football."
(on whether this week was what he expected it to be)
"Yeah, I would say so. I didn't realize there would be so much media stuff. Usually when you're back in New England at our facility, you can hide in the training room and kind of stay away from it. Here it's mandatory so I have to answer your questions."
(on whether Tom Brady or anyone told him what to expect)
"No, it was more for my family coming in, getting all that stuff together, tickets, that whole deal. I was just picking their brain on all that stuff to make sure I'm all set and prepared to where I can just worry about playing football once I got here."
(on how quickly he developed a relationship with Brady)
"It's been us working hard together and making sure we're all on the same page. A lot of it has been him teaching me the offense and understanding what he wants and going out there and executing it the way he wants to execute it. I've been stubborn at times, but in the end I'm understanding what he wants and what we need to do to get better out there."
(on having to adjust to different offensive systems as a result of changing teams)
"There still is (an adjustment). It's one of those deals where it takes time. I look back at our first game this season and now and know it's come a long way and I feel like there is a lot of growth there and a lot of things I can get better at and be more successful out there."
(on how the chemistry on this team is different from the ones you have been on in the past)
"We have a great group of leaders, a great group of guys; guys I would want to hang out with and want to be around. We have great character, great individuals all the way across the board."
