Players to Watch: Dolphins vs. Patriots
Patriots Football Weekly's Andy Hart gives you his players to watch during Sunday's matchup against the Miami Dolphins.

Every game has to have some sort of focus on Gronk. The man who revealed his kitten-loving, SpongeBob-watching softer side to ESPN The Magazine will be showing his on-field domination against a Dolphins team that lost top safety Louis Delmas to injury.

The Dolphins run defense has been an absolute sieve for the last three weeks. Against the Chargers, Blount got bottled up for the first time in his return to New England. This feels like a week where Blount Force Trauma will be a big part of the game plan against the Miami defense.

New England's pass protection has been a bit suspect the last couple weeks and Brady hasn't had his best performances. Miami's pass rush was a problem in the opening day loss in Miami, so look for Brady to have something to prove and be on his A game for some December home cooking in Foxborough.

Miami has a solid offensive line and a decent Lamar Miller-led rushing attack. Wilfork leads a defensive line that's been getting better by the week for a Patriots run defense that's knocking on the door of being a top-10 unit in the league.

If Rob Gronkowski is the man around with the offense revolves, the same can be said of Revis on defense. He made Keenan Allen irrelevant last Sunday night and will likely get plenty of chances to do the same with Mike Wallace this coming weekend.

Miller doesn't always get a ton of chances, but he's had a consistent season averaging 4.8 yards per carry. The Patriots defense is at its best when forcing opponents to be one-dimensional. Miller will be looking to avoid that while taking another step toward a 1,000-yard season for the Dolphins.

Pass rush was a problem on opening day when Tom Brady was sacked a season-high four times. Wake (9.5) and Vernon (6.5) have combined for 16 sacks. The Patriots offensive line, especially Nate Solder, has been giving up too much pressure of late. The must give Brady time by taking care of these book-end rushers.Â

The rookie second-round pick had one catch for 0 yards in the Miami win to open the year. Now, Landry leads the Dolphins with 63 receptions, five of which came for touchdowns. He's also a force in the kicking game as a kickoff returner (29.8 avg.) and on punts (7.8 avg.).

Miami's third-year starter is having a nice season, including a 92.6 rating. But if the Dolphins are going to roll into Gillette Stadium in December and pull off the upset, Tannehill is going to have to be at his best against a confident Patriots pass defense.

Bill Belichick called Pouncey one of the best players in the league. The former center missed the opener and is now playing guard for a Miami team that will look to stay balanced. Pouncey's battles with Vince Wilfork and the rest of the New Engalnd front are worth watching.
