Rob Gronkowski, TE - The tight end helped carry the Patriots to victory on opening day with three catches longer than 20 yards, including his pretty 21-yard touchdown. Now he has a Week 2 trip to Jacksonville to take on talkative cornerback Jalen Ramsey and the confident Jags. Gronk is feeling good and playing even better.

Dont'a Hightower, LB - New England's Pro Bowl linebacker had a pretty quiet opening day. Still, Hightower should be key in Jacksonville whether it's against the Jaguars reliable running game or dealing with Blake Bortles' passing attack.

Tom Brady, QB - TB12 was more than solid in the opener against a resurgent Texans defense but faces a much grander challenge on the road against the Jaguars. Brady will continue to try to piece together complementary targets as he and the offense battle one of the best defenses they'll face all year.

Adrian Clayborn, DE - Though Blake Bortles isn't thought of as a true runner, the Patriots will have to once again employ a somewhat controlled pass rush in Jacksonville against the athletic quarterback. Clayborn is the veteran presence on New England's new-look defensive front.

Trent Brown, T - The mammoth left tackle had an impressive New England debut, helping the Patriots line answer the challenge of the Texans on opening day. Brown and the rest of the group will get another big test against the Jaguars Sacksonville front in this Week 2 road battle.

Jalen Ramsey, CB - It's hard to decide whether Ramsey's on-field talents or off-field chatter is more impressive. The All-Pro cornerback is the total package in coverage, skills he'll need if he gets his wish and finds himself trying to man up Rob Gronkowski.

Doug Marrone, Head Coach - The Jags coach has to take the brunt of the criticism for his team failing to finish the job in last January's AFC title game that the Foxborough visitors led for nearly three full quarters. This game doesn't mean nearly as much, but Marrone must prove he's the man to lead the talented Jags to the next level.

Blake Bortles, QB - There may not be a more questioned quarterback in the NFL. Working with one of the more talented defenses in the game, Bortles is asked to manage the game on the way to victory. He's more athletic than given credit for, but also is prone to pretty bad throws at times.

Myles Jack, LB - The former first-round pick leads one of the fastest groups of linebackers in football. Jack had a huge forced fumble and fumble recovery in the last meeting and will be a key factor in the Patriots attempts to utilize James White in the passing game.

Leonard Fournette, RB - There are two key questions regarding Fournette after the workhorse suffered a hamstring injury on opening day against the Giants. Will he play in Week 2? And if so, will he be effective? If Fournette can carry the load, it would be a big first step for the home squad's chances in this big AFC battle.
