New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick addresses the media during his postgame press conference at Lucas Oil Stadium on Sunday, November 2, 2008.
*(general comments) *
"So, we've come out here the last couple of times and it has been just like this – the last possession, the last couple of plays. So, that's how I would describe the game tonight. The Colts made a couple of more play than we did. We had our chances, disappointing but we have some pretty good games coming up; a game against Buffalo and we are going to turn out sights towards that."
*(on the 4th-down timeout turned field goal attempt)
*"Well, we didn't get a very good look at the spot. At first we thought it was fourth and inches then all along it was fourth and about a yard. So, once we saw what the distance was it just seemed better to go for the points."
*(on the Colts' adjustment to defend their running game) *
"Well, I don't know much about the adjustments, you would have to ask them. I thought we ran the ball pretty competitively tonight."
*(on how QB-Matt Cassel played) *
"I thought overall we played a good football game but came up a couple plays short. I thought we played very well in all areas and just came up a few plays short."
