KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Nov. 26, 2005) -- The Kansas City Chiefs activated Shawn Barber from the physically unable to perform list.
Barber, a 6-foot-2-inch, 240-pound linebacker, suffered a knee injury against Tampa Bay in November 2004. Before the injury, he had started 24 consecutive games for the Chiefs.
Barber, who also played for Washington and Philadelphia, joined the Chiefs as an unrestricted free agent in 2003.
The Chiefs made room for Barber on their 53-man roster when they placed linebacker Kris Griffin on the injured reserve list.
