PHILADELPHIA (March 18, 2005) -- Linebacker Keith Adams agreed to a one-year contract with the Eagles following a season in which his career-high 54 tackles helped Philadelphia reach the Super Bowl.

Adams also is a key player on special teams whose value rose after he played well as a starter filling in for Mark Simoneau in the playoffs.

Adams, a seventh-round pick by Tennessee in 2001, played parts of two seasons with Dallas before being claimed off waivers by the Eagles in October 2002. The son of former New England Patriot Julius Adams, he has 93 tackles in 51 career games.
