There's football and then there's fútbol. Just because you play one doesn't mean you can't be a fan of the other. One look at the Patriots Twitter followers and you can see that a few players from soccer leagues across the pond are fans of this New England football team. A few of our own players are returning that appreciation and consider themselves fans of the other kind of football.
Julian Edelman shows Arsenal some love
The Patriots wide receiver has been jetting across the country since the offseason began. This year he got a chance to sit front row at a show during New York Fashion Week, hung out with Michael Irvin and made pancakes at Boston Children's Hospital. Between all of that, Julian headed to the U.K. and caught English Premier League's Arsenal in action
Dominique Easley's dreams become a reality
The defensive lineman fulfilled his wishes of going to Germany in his time off and fully documented the journey on his Instagram. While there, Dominique took some time to see Tottenham, take on Dortmund in the round of 16 of the UEFA Europa League.
Newcomer Jonathan Cooper appreciates the finer plays
Though Jonathan doesn't publicly root for a specific team, you can find the new Patriots guard appreciating the artistry that is often associated with soccer. Over the years he has collected several kits of teams across Europe and loves to wear them, like when he stopped by to talk to Patriots reporter Miranda Mason. Check out the video below.
