The Patriots added a slew of new names to the roster in recent days, and Cordarrelle Patterson is among the ranks of fresh Patriots.
From his taste in music to his fitting nickname, Patriots Lifestyle has you covered when it comes to off-the-field facts about the new receiver. Get to know Cordarrelle, Patriots Nation.
Cordarrelle shares a hometown with another Patriot.
Both Cordarrelle and Stephon Gilmore hail from Rock Hill, S.C. While they are the same age and both grew up in the same town, Cordarrelle and Stephon went to rival high schools. The Texans Jadeveon Clowney also comes from Rock Hill, making it a football powerhouse town.

His nickname is "The Flash."
Simply put: the dude is fast. Need we say more?
Cordarrelle is a big country music fan.
While on the Vikings, Cordarrelle sat shotgun for CARoake, and with the phone in his hand, he played the role of car-ride DJ. Cordarrelle belted out "House Party," by Sam Hunt, "Mayberry" and "These Days" by Rascal Flatts, "American Kids" by Kenny Chesney and, despite saying he didn't like the song, "Dirt Road Anthem" by Jason Aldean. He knew every word and yelled it (hilariously) out the window to pedestrians. The video is worth a watch.
*He knows how to coordinate an outfit for the holidays. *
Cordarrelle and his Raiders teammates may have been hard at work on Christmas Day last year, but that didn't stop him from getting in the spirit of the holiday. He rocked some serious Christmas swag

When he's at Disney, he's a big kid.
Before playing in the Pro Bowl as a member of the Vikings, Cordarrelle explored Disney Land in Orlando, and the video brings the magic to life. It shows that Disney Land brings out everyone's inner kid -- even an NFL star. Cordarrelle roamed the park, rode Thunder Mountain, Mad Tea Party, Splash Mountain and Dumbo the Flying Elephant with the giddiness of kid. And who among us would act differently?
Welcome to New England, Cordarrelle!
