After the Patriots traded for Danny Shelton, the team made another move that excited Patriots Nation -- and Devin McCourty.
The Patriots traded for Jason McCourty on Thursday, and though he's been a familiar face to Patriots fans, it's time to truly get to know Jason.
Here are a few fun facts about the Patriots new cornerback.
Let's get the obvious out of the way.
Did you know Jason is Devin McCourty's twin? You did? Good. If you need quick ways to tell them apart, know that both have scars from chicken pox. Jason's is on his forehead, and Devin's is on his nose.
It's family first.
Jason and Devin have a close relationship, even sharing social media accounts that they use to poke fun at each other every now and then. The brotherly love isn't all. Jason and his wife Melissa have three kids, welcoming their second daughter last year.
A natural leader.
During his time with the Titans, Jason was voted captain three times.
Giving back to the community is crucial.
Jason and Devin started their "Tackle Sickle Cell" initiative in partnership with Embrace Kids to raise money for research and bring awareness to the disease in honor of their family impacted by it. Whether he was in Nashville or Cleveland, Jason was quick to dedicate his time to the community, and he was the Titans 2014 Walter Payton Man of the Year nominee.
Throwback favorites.
According to the Titans website, Jason really liked the movie, "Hitch," and the show "King of Queens" back in the day. As of 2015, he said he would love to see a J. Cole Super Bowl halftime show.
One last thing.
Did we mention he's a twin?
We can't wait to see the fun having Jason in the locker room will bring.
