Anywhere the Gronkowski brothers go, they bring the fun with them, and on Sunday, the sharks on "Shark Tank" learned just how true a statement that is.
Rob Gronkowski's older brother Chris appeared on the show to find an investor and mentor for his business, Ice Shaker. The stainless steel shaker is designed to keep smoothies and shakes cold for longer than a plastic shaker, and of course, Chris couldn't do the pitch without his brothers Rob, Gordie, Dan and Glenn.
The Gronks naturally brought flair to their presentation -- like flip cup. Yes, flip cup. Don't worry -- it was with water.
The brothers challenged the sharks to a round of the game, and it was never a fair fight.
While the Gronk brothers obviously crushed it at flip cup, it turns out they also crushed their Ice Shaker pitch. Every shark -- Lori Greiner, Mark Cuban, Kevin O'Leary, Barbara Corcoran and Alex Rodriguez -- made an offer. Originally, Chris was looking for an investment of $100,000 for a 10 percent stake in his company, but he wasn't just looking for a financial investment.
"I don't exactly need the money," Chris said. "If I needed just the $100,000, I could probably call somebody I know, and he'd probably give it to me, but I need expertise."
Ultimately, he accepted an offer from Mark and Alex for $150,000 and a 15 percent stake.
"The amount gives us both a reason to get excited and help," Mark said. "You can go to the Yankees. You can go to your fitness clubs. We can put them in the Mavs locker room."
Needless to say, Gronk and his brothers were pumped about the deal too.
"We got three sports now -- football, baseball and basketball, baby," Gronk said with a smile.
